Plain-English summary (informational only — the legal terms below govern): You're buying a personal license to use a digital playbook of admin recipes for Cornerstone OnDemand. One person, one tenant. You can ask for a refund within 30 days, no questions. We push free updates when we fix things. You can't share the file with other admins (they need their own license). We're not affiliated with Cornerstone OnDemand. If something breaks in your tenant because you ran a recipe, you own that outcome — we shipped you a playbook, not a guarantee.

1. The agreement you're entering

By completing checkout for "The Cornerstone Admin Power Toolkit" (the Product) on Gumroad, you ("you," "buyer") agree to these Terms of Sale. If you don't agree, don't complete the purchase. These Terms incorporate the License Agreement and Privacy Policy by reference; together they form the entire agreement between you and Recipe Console LLC ("we," "us") for the Product.

2. What you're buying

A digital download consisting of:

A PDF playbook (~340 pages, 8 modules, 56 sections at the time of these Terms)
A /code/ bundle of paste-ready JavaScript, PowerShell, and ancillary files (30 files at the time of these Terms)
A safe HTML test page for off-tenant practice
The right to receive free updates as described in Section 6

The Product is licensed, not sold. The License Agreement governs what you may and may not do with it.

3. Price and payment

The Product is offered at the price displayed on the Gumroad listing at the time of checkout (currently USD $147, single-admin license). Pay-What-You-Want pricing may be enabled with a minimum equal to the listed price.

Payment is processed by Gumroad, Inc. as the merchant of record. Gumroad handles:

Payment authorization and capture
Currency conversion (if applicable)
Sales tax, VAT, GST, and equivalent jurisdiction-specific consumption taxes (Gumroad collects and remits these as required by applicable law)
1099-K and similar tax reporting to us

By purchasing, you agree to Gumroad's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy in addition to ours. We do not have access to your full payment card information at any time.

4. Delivery

Delivery is electronic, immediate, and to the email address you provide at checkout. Gumroad sends a download link and license key. You are responsible for providing a working email address and for retrieving the files within Gumroad's link expiration window (typically 30 days; re-issued on request).

5. Refund policy

30 days, no questions asked. If you request a refund within 30 calendar days of purchase, we will issue a full refund via Gumroad. To request a refund:

Reply to your Gumroad receipt email with "refund," or
Contact controller@recipeconsolellc.com from the email address used at checkout

We may revoke your access to the Product (download link and any associated license entitlements) when we issue a refund. By accepting a refund, you agree to delete any copies of the Product files in your possession.

Refund requests outside the 30-day window may be granted at our discretion in cases of duplicate purchase or technical inability to access the download.

6. Lifetime updates

When we publish a new version of the Product, you receive it for free as long as we continue to publish updates. We will use commercially reasonable efforts to push updates through Gumroad's update notification system to the email address on your purchase.

"Lifetime" means the lifetime of the Product, not the lifetime of the buyer. If we permanently cease publishing the Product, the lifetime-updates commitment ends. We will, where commercially feasible, provide at least 30 days' notice of permanent discontinuation via the announcement channels (Gumroad email, the website, or social media).

Updates may include bug fixes, recipe revisions reflecting Cornerstone OnDemand UI changes, new recipes, errata, and content reorganization. Updates do not include separate paid products (e.g., bonus PDFs separately listed) unless explicitly stated.

7. License summary

The Product is licensed under the License Agreement. In summary, your purchase grants you:

Permitted use: personal use by one (1) Cornerstone OnDemand administrator at any number of Cornerstone OnDemand tenants on which that administrator holds admin permissions; internal use of the recipes, scripts, and patterns within that administrator's daily work.
Prohibited use: sharing, distributing, reselling, sublicensing, uploading to any public or third-party file-sharing service, integrating into a competing toolkit or training product, or making the Product accessible to any other person.

Team licenses (multi-administrator, organization-wide, or training-vendor deployment) are available by separate agreement; contact controller@recipeconsolellc.com for pricing.

8. Disclaimers

The Product is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including without limitation warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, or that the Product will be uninterrupted, error-free, or compatible with any specific version of Cornerstone OnDemand or any specific tenant configuration.

The recipes, scripts, and patterns in the Product operate within your existing administrative permission scope on your Cornerstone OnDemand tenant and produce the same audit events that equivalent manual actions produce. You are solely responsible for:

Evaluating each recipe's suitability for your tenant before running it
Backing up or otherwise protecting your tenant's data
Complying with your employer's IT, security, and acceptable-use policies
Complying with your Cornerstone OnDemand license terms and any applicable data-protection or industry regulations
Any consequence of running a recipe in your tenant

We do not warrant that the recipes will continue to work across future Cornerstone OnDemand releases. We will make commercially reasonable efforts to issue updates when releases break recipes, but we make no specific service-level commitment about update timing.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

Our aggregate liability arising out of or related to your purchase or use of the Product is limited to the amount you paid for the Product.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, business interruption, or reputational harm, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
We are not liable for actions taken by you (or by any third party acting on your behalf) on your Cornerstone OnDemand tenant or any other system, including without limitation data loss, transcript modifications, learning assignment changes, or any compliance, audit, or regulatory consequence.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability; in those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Recipe Console LLC, its members, officers, employees, contractors, and agents from any third-party claim, demand, loss, or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) your use of the Product, (b) your violation of these Terms or the License Agreement, or (c) any action taken by you on a Cornerstone OnDemand tenant or other system using or referencing the Product.

11. No affiliation with Cornerstone OnDemand

The Product is independent commentary by a working administrator. Cornerstone OnDemand is a trademark of Cornerstone OnDemand, Inc. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or otherwise connected to Cornerstone OnDemand, Inc. References to Cornerstone OnDemand product names, features, and screens are nominative and used solely for descriptive purposes.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will post the revised Terms at https://recipeconsolellc.com/terms (or equivalent location) and update the "Effective date" above. Material changes will be communicated via the email on file with your purchase. Continued use of the Product or any updates after the effective date of a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, your remedy is to discontinue use of the Product and request a refund within the refund window (Section 5), if still applicable.

13. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Product will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Gwinnett County, Georgia, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. The prevailing party in any such action is entitled to its reasonable attorneys' fees and costs.

For claims totaling less than USD $15,000, either party may elect to bring the claim in the small-claims court of Gwinnett County, Georgia, in which case the small-claims court's procedures govern.

14. Miscellaneous

Entire agreement. These Terms (together with the License Agreement and Privacy Policy) are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Product and supersede any prior agreement.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full effect.
No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
Assignment. You may not assign your rights under these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations to a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all of our assets.
Headings. Section headings are for convenience only.
